Been A while

Well, It's been a while since I've put out a blog post. I had the baby Feb 16th. Her name is Alyssa and she is 4 months old now. She's growing so fast. DJ is very excited that she is here now, but sometimes he just wish it was him lol. Anyway, not a lot going on here. I've been working with Lifebushido from home to make some extra money. I'm liking it. I can make my own schedule and work from my house in my pj's (Nice). sometimes it's hard if Alyssa is up, but I make do. Well, that's all for now. I will try to do better with this blogging thing :).

Dorian is 5

On December 9th my little boy turned 5 years old. He is just growing up. We had his birthday party at pump it up (www.pumpitupparty.com). It was perfect. He played so hard. All of the kids enjoyed it.

Well along with 5 came a loose tooth. He came home yesterday and said mom I have bad news. I said what? He said my tooth can move LOL. But that's not better than what he told my mom. He got in her car earlier yesterday and told her "Grandma guess what?..My tooth came out and I put it back in" ROFL. What he really meant was he pushed it outward with his tongue and then moved it back in place. Kids are too funny.

Last week

Well last week Dorian, my oldest got sick. It started with a runny nose and then a cough. Monday night I heard him whinning in his sleep. When I checked on him he had a 99.9 fever and he was breathing fast. I woke him up and he said his chest was hurting. Tuesday morning I took him to the doctor. He was diagnosed with Acute Broncitis and childhood asthma. My poor baby has to travel with a nebulizer. Last week I stayed home with him and he had to have breathing treatments every 4 hours. At his recheck the doctor said he was doing great and so she's wheening him off the neb. He is now using it every 8 hours and then after 5 days he goes to every 12 hours and then off. I really hope he grows out of this.

It's Official!!!

Well last time I told you I had an ultrasound, they were not 100% sure of the sex of the baby. They said about 90% girl but the babies legs were crossed. Well last Monday I went for my 24 week check-up and I was able to get another ultrasound done. This time the babies legs were wide open lol. It's officially 100% A GIRL!!!!!

Now off to shopping. I've already done some baby registries. I'm trying to stay out of the store but I don't know how much longer I can wait lol.

3D Ultrasound

I've been thinking of getting a 3D ultrasound. I'm not sure if I really want to or not. Is it really worth it? Does it take away the surprise? Or does it make you more anxious? Just some thoughts going through my head today.

Got the ultrasound

Ultrasound was Monday. The baby decided to have it's legs crossed so the ultrasound tech couldn't see the babies gender. I ended up going along to complete the rest of my 20 week visit and then my midwife told me to stick around a little longer to get another quick ultrasound done incase the baby had moved around some. When I got in there and got on the table for the second ultrasound of the day, the baby was moving all around and wouldn't be still lol. this time it's legs were straight up in the air. Ankles were still crossed, but since the tech didn't see any boy parts hanging she was abot 90 percent sure that we are having a GIRL!!!!! I will get another scan done in 4 weeks just to confirm 100% but she's quite sure it's a girl.

Dorian's reaction to the ultrasound:
Well Kyle stayed home and went to the ultrasound with me. We picked Dorian up early to come with us. He was so excited! When we got in the room he was waiting to see if he was gonna have a baby sister or brother. He really wants a sister. When the screen started showing the baby he was looking like Whats That? LOL He backed up from the screen and then he sat down and he said "That's not a sister that's a dinosaur"! ROFL
