3D Ultrasound
I've been thinking of getting a 3D ultrasound. I'm not sure if I really want to or not. Is it really worth it? Does it take away the surprise? Or does it make you more anxious? Just some thoughts going through my head today.

Got the ultrasound
Ultrasound was Monday. The baby decided to have it's legs crossed so the ultrasound tech couldn't see the babies gender. I ended up going along to complete the rest of my 20 week visit and then my midwife told me to stick around a little longer to get another quick ultrasound done incase the baby had moved around some. When I got in there and got on the table for the second ultrasound of the day, the baby was moving all around and wouldn't be still lol. this time it's legs were straight up in the air. Ankles were still crossed, but since the tech didn't see any boy parts hanging she was abot 90 percent sure that we are having a GIRL!!!!! I will get another scan done in 4 weeks just to confirm 100% but she's quite sure it's a girl.
Dorian's reaction to the ultrasound:
Well Kyle stayed home and went to the ultrasound with me. We picked Dorian up early to come with us. He was so excited! When we got in the room he was waiting to see if he was gonna have a baby sister or brother. He really wants a sister. When the screen started showing the baby he was looking like Whats That? LOL He backed up from the screen and then he sat down and he said "That's not a sister that's a dinosaur"! ROFL

What are we having?
It's almost time to find out what we are having? Is it a boy? Is it a girl? We don't know, but what we do know is it's a baby LOL. Ok that was lame but I had to say it. Anyway, Monday October 12th is the big day. Kyle and Dorian will join me in the ultrasound. I know that Kyle and I are excited and I know Dorian will be super excited. He always want to know what the baby is doing, so seeing the baby moving around on the monitor will amaze him.
Well, Stay tuned to find out the news!!! :)

Yep..I fell
Well, as you've probably heard, we had some pretty hard rain and bad flooding in GA. In my area, most of the streets were blocked off because of flood damage and our water main busted and we didn't have water for 2 days. Anyway, my family and I went to a friends house where they still had water and we took showers. We hung out there for a while, ate dinner and the guys played madden. Well, me and Dorian we walking down the stairs and we get to the last maybe 5 steps and I all of a sudden find myself falling. I slid down the steps and landed on my butt lol. It wasn't a bad fall or anything, but my butt was sore hahahaha. There are no worries since I didn't fall on my stomach.

busy baby
Yesterday I went to the doctor for my 16 week check up. Of course they did the blood work and also I got to hear the babies heartbeat again. This time it was funny. The baby kept moving. The midwife would find the heartbeat, we would listen for a few second and then hear the swishing sound. That was the baby moving to a new position. She'd find the heartbeat again and the baby would move again. lol. She said I have a very active baby in there which is a good thing. I can't wait to really feel the baby move. I've only felt it one time and that was last week.

Babies First Kicks
On yesterday, Thursday September 10th at around 6:50 pm, I felt the babies first kicks. I am 15 weeks pregnant. I thought I had felt kicks before but was unsure, but this time I am definately sure. It lasted for about 3 minutes. Later, I felt them again and then no more for the night. I don't remember how early it was when I felt Dorian kicking. I think it was around 16 weeks. I know one thing. That little boy kicked all the way up to delivery and on the delivery day he was kicking so much the moniters were coming off my belly lol.
